FPSC unresponsive or something else?

This is my first time on this forum and first attempt at CSS in 27 years.
Pls do guide me.
i sent my complete application form and it reached FPSC on 17 of oct.
now first concern is :
i was issued a different type of computer generated receipt from the national bank. i did not pay any much attention to it because they assured me that this is the new procedure for FPSC. but when i entered the details , the check box would accept it because the cpr is 16 digits and the box only accepts 4 .

secondly, it's been so long since i sent my application to fpsc but i have yet to receive any acceptance receipt from fpsc.

now was i right to send my documents that early or should i have waited for the online closing date and then would have sent them(documents) and what about that computer receipt.

guidance would be appreciated.

In this regard must contact with fpsc either on phone or to visit personally there, as you feel better convenient . At least send in written the issue fpsc so that it should be in their knowledge... In near future if the issue raises somewhere stage, this would be at least on their end.

If you have sent your application through TCS then you have the option to track it delivery. If it's been delivered to FPSC then you don't have to worry about anything unless there is some major mistake in your form.

Once your application has been received, you don't have to worry about it. However, if you want to get acknowledgement about your application you may call or email them with your concern and they will surely respond.

Dear Kartal Rayz,

The Fee Receipt Number is not more than 4 digits, it can be a number anywhere between one digit to four digits. It is written by hand and not printed. You'll find it on your fee challan on which you deposited your fee in the bank.

Secondly, you will not get an acknowledgement of the receipt of your hard-copy application from FPSC. That is what I know from their general pattern of operation. Usually the candidates get an acknowledgement SMS for receipt of their ONLINE APPLICATION only.

Anyhow you can approach them and check if your hardcopy application was received by them and in record. But this would take a little time, as they have to do Data Entry of (certain fields of) all the applications that are accompanied by Hardcopies (despite the applications being online). Once their Data entry procedure is completed, they could confirm you the receipt of your printed / hardcopy application.

(The above is from my experience being a past employee of FPSC)
Thanks.

holla

1. Challan receipt no is written by hand and circled at the top. usually 1-4 digits depending on the no. of applicants at that bank etc.

2. They won't send you the receipt for your application unless you give it in person at FPSC HQ in Isloo. I gave mine last Friday and there were 15 people in that small room throwing about applications willy nilly. Very disorganised. If you've sent it to the right address, don't worry, it's been received.

3. No issue about sending it in early at all.

(Btw they were throwing away half the applications because something or the other was missing :bow)

I talked to FPSC and they said that i should send the original copy of the receipt to them with my application. Therein lies the problem; there is no original receipt but only a customer copy. Although i did send my copy ( customer one ) with 14 digit number and also informed them of it. But i am still apprehensive , as everybody is saying that it is 4 digit receipt not the 14 one.

Well as i said it is my first try at applying for a Govt: job. I had to triple check every aspect of application submission procedure. In as much , i even sent my whole application form complete in every requisite well ahead in time and was given the application serial number " 1 ":waiting, when i applied online. Now the funny thing is, a long has passed and doubts begin to arise. Doubts such as, did i attach all my documents? did i number them accordingly? etc.

Thank you for the reply. But there was no 1-4 digit hand written number. The National Bank employee took my computer printed Challan receipt (downloaded from the fpsc site) and told me that this is an old receipt now the bank issues a new CPR 14 digit challan with receipt number being the same. Then i went straight to regional fpsc office, told them of the situation and at first he was like, what is this,i have not seen this recently. Then he perused it and was sort of determined but in a doubtful way that it could be a new procedure because the receipt has the same account head as in the old one.

bonjour .
1. No sir. The challan receipt no is neither written by hand nor circled anywhere. The one i was issued is 14 digit CPR thingy.

2. I couriered my documents. And as you are mentioning their behavior, i hope that my documents stay together. Because Allah forbid, if they misplace my documents and blame me or reject my application, i will sue them officially and personally. I will even file for damages even against the person who received my application at the reception. And i know who was on the shift on that particular time and day. I am pretty sure that i sent the whole package to the right address.

3. Thank you for reassurance.
