Walikum-Asalam

Firstly i'll advise you to spend time and study the whole structure of CSS and know what is CSS.

Secondly in selection of optional subject select that subject which have more scoring trends and also you have interest in that subject.

In which CSS exams you want to appear ? CE-2017 or CE-2018

Pick those subjects in which you are interested and feel like you can explain better than any one in the exam hall.
Treat all groups the same. Consider, the highly sought-after PSP or PAS to the dreaded Postal group, on equal footing. None would function without the other.
People who say that, you should pick those subjects which are high scoring and are known to be of an interest to you, are wrong.period!
How can some one like you and me; students of computer science, select, oh say "chemistry", e.g: people say chemistry is a high scoring subject for the past 3 years, but computer science is very low scoring subject, maybe you should pick chemistry.
Then, how can a student of computer science explain the phenomena of "A state of matter in which cohesive force is less than or equal to the separating force". good luck with that.
Finally, download the guidelines and or the basic information about CSS from FPSC websites.:nono:vic

Subject Selection

Asslam o Alaikum,

Members, I needed some guidance about subject selection. I am in last semester of MPA. And have done B. Com before.
As I have studied both Accounting and Economics so which of these should I choose.
Moreover I wanted also a suggestion in Punjabi and Journalism I haven't studied both of them at school. I also want to opt for Mercantile Law besides Public Administration and History of Pakistan and India. I am aiming to get in CE-2018. Your guidance is highly appreciated.

Thanks and Regards.

Go for Punjabi or geography as these are scoring subjects. Mercantile Law is fine but opt US History instead of Pak-India History

Wouldn't Indo-Pak History help me in Pakistan Affairs and General Knowledge?
