Injustice on CSS

CSS examination results for 2016 were announced recently. Punjab students, despite having a quota of 50pc, have been increasingly using urban Sindh domicile.

A number of students securing top slots on the merit list actually hail from Punjab and have never been to Sindh in their lives.

As a result, urban Sindh students end up without getting their preferred choice of service. This is injustice to these candidates who burn the midnight oil to get their preferred groups from a meagre 11pc quota.

(2) REFERENCE the results of CSS examinations 2016. The relevant authority is requested to explain why Punjab got 142 seats out of 199, which makes 71.3pc, while the quota for Punjab is 50pc. Let us add merit as well. That makes it 57.5pc, which is 114. Why did the remaining 28 candidates get selected?

Do you know her personally? You should move the court if you think you are right and the commission, knowingly or unknowingly, allocated her against Sindh (Urban) quota when she's from Punjab. Leveling baseless allegations on this forum will do no good to any. I personally believe that the commission cannot afford to commit such a blunder.

199 is the number of students who cleared the CSS2016. Total number of seats for CSS2016 were 351. The link to number of seats is still on FPSC website. You can check it here.

There are many FATA domicile holders
Who do not live there .

What about CSS reforms and cluster based css exams.

But they didn't have to distribute other province's quota as per rule of fpsc.

I don't know her personally, but I think she is right. 50 is allocated to punjab if all of them qualified then they didn't have to select further candidates according to limitations of quota as mentioned in its rules and regulations.
