Conflict between degree and ID card info
Hello everyone
On my matriculation, intermediate and engineering transcript my father name is written as "James" but on my B form and ID card and His ID card it is written as "James Thomas". Back then in Fsc a teacher told me that I would have trouble applying for government job. would this make any trouble? Do I need to correct it on my degrees? |

Yes. That's an issue. Names on CNIC, Certificates should be same, even a spelling mistake would be a hassle. Get it rectified ASAP before you apply for any public sector job. Good luck.

Go for father name modification on I'd card and if you find any difficulty then do let me know, insha Allah matter would be fixed.

Go to Nadra's Swift Registration Centre in your concerned district and apply for modification of your father's name on your CNIC, that's an easy way to get your problem fixed. The other way to get that corrected is to modify your father's name on your academic documents which is a very cumbersome and tiring process, you bet. So, I would like to advise you for taking the road more travelled by (the former) and don't even think of taking the road 'less travelled by'. Regards

If Dr Umar Deen is written on your father's ID then it may become troublesome when you will get attested your documents.
