As per my experience subject selection for a çompeitive exam like CSS should be done in accordance with few influential factors I.e

1. Background knowledge, more especially for a scoring subject.

2. Subject that has a scoring trend, and understable

3. Time you have for preparation of a selected subject. I.e timely preparation

4. Help you can take from someone in moving towards your aim of score in a selected subject &

5. Your expression of know-how during exam, you develop during preparation of a particular subject.

Regards

Hello Dear,

Keeping my comment laconic, I would suggest preferring International Law over Criminology.

To further clarify, you may review the syllabus and the past papers of aforementioned subjects.
