Exclamation Complete guidance required for Exam 2019
Dear Seniors,

Asalam - o - Alaikum, how are you all? Today I am here to ask some guidance regarding presenting myself in upcoming CSS Examination intake in Feb 2019.
Firstly, I want to share my academic background. I have strong grip over Journalism, Information Tech etc. Average in Accounting, Maths, Stats. Also blessed with poor English writing. As you can judge I have not grip on English grammar sentence making or tenses. Please guide me according to above scenario how I can prepare my self staying at home for next CSS examination. It is your humble deed if you share some reference books/notes, subject selection. So, I can easily compile all material in short time. I have only 4hrs daily for preparation and exams are in next 6 months. Hope for best guidance from Seniors.

you have ample time for preparation. consider scoring optionals including accouting, gender studies, criminology, anthropology etc. read newspaper daily and make ur own notes. consult past papers for understading and prevailing trend of questions. essay paper is crucial one, try to write essays covering 2500 words. gather latest data l, figures and information relating to current affair, pak,afair or social issues and intetnational events

Hello sir.

I am an aspiring candidate for the css 2019 examination. could you let me know if the registration on fpsc site it open as of now or will it open in September as i can only see the 2018 registration on the site.

IR is a good option. However, aspirants now days are worried about its low scoring trend.
My suggestion for you is to go with the one you are comfortable with after going through their past papers and syllabus.

Exploring the world of english by Hafiz Karim Dad, That book will cover maximum part of english paper.

I would suggest download one or two books of oxford grammar and start with that
There are books on idioms too
Standard books make u an expert
U will find good book links on this forum too I don't know how to post the links here
Go to English grammar or English essay links here on this forum ane u will find many links to download books
I did the same when I was preparing for the exams
