Red face Recommended for Army - Want to do CSS - Need Advice

Salam, fellow CSS aspirants!

I need some advice regarding my career and would be really grateful if any serving CSP or expert guides me.

I recently got recommended for Pakistan Army for 142 Long Course, and the training starts next month. But I am caught in a dilemma. I have always wanted to do CSS.

Now I have to make the most important decision, my family has left it entirely on me. But they say that CSS officers get less benefits than Army Officers and are often caught in tough political situations.

Please offer me some advice and share your experience if possible. I would be really grateful.

Thank You

Go for PMA, brother. Donot miss out on this opportunity. Now is not the time for you to weigh it up on the scale perks and privileges. Each service has its own pros and cons. Also, if you have joined the army and want to switch to css, you still can ( army officers have a quota, you could read up more on it)

Obviously I know about the quota. Only 8 people are selected from all three forces each year for CSS, and the selection is mostly on sifarish basis. I think now IS the time to consider the pros and cons of both these careers.
