Default Which Bachelors Degree Should I Get?

Hello!
I have always been a CSS aspirant, it has been my dream. I have completed my FSc recently and got recommended for Army but I didn't join because I want to do CSS.
I am confused as to whether I should take a professional degree that would be a backup in case I couldn't clear CSS, or should I go for BS Economics, which will aid me in my preparation for CSS and allow me to manage my time to study during my degree.
My age is 18 right now. I plan to appear in CSS soon after my Bachelors is completed. Would doing a 2 years Private BA be a wise option?
How should I start my preparation?

Go for a professional degree, don't just rely on a private BA. Bs economics is good.

BS is better than B.A as you aren't running out of age. Also there is no guarantee of clearing css, who knows what tomorrow brings....

Thank you for replying sir, I just read your message. I have decided to go for BS degree.
My interest is in Computer Science, so if I go for BS Computer Science, I would have to keep Computer Science as an optional instead of Economics or IR etc. and I have not seen many people choose it as an optional. Would it be wise?
I could also go for BS Economics but I have heard that there is not much scope in it.

Regards

I have already left Pak Army for CSS, so now it is my only option. But I am going for BS degree, now deciding whether I should go for Computer Science or Economics.
