Apologies in advance for what may be a silly question to some of you. I've just joined the forum and obviously interested in the whole CSS process.

I'm a dual citizen and I know that you have to surrender your other citizenship if you wish to become a civil servant in Pakistan. However, I would like to know if this is after you pass the exam or before. Do you get the option after you've passed and are assigned a post - or before the whole process of enrolling and sitting the exams etc.

Q: Can dual nationality holders apply against posts advertised by the Commission?

Answer:

Dual nationality holders can apply against the posts advertised by the Commission, however, they will have to surrender their foreign nationality and inform the Govt. before joining Government Service.
