Default Open merit despite having minor disability

Is it a wise decision to apply on open merit if you feel that you can counter your disability and it will not effect your exams? I have minor hearing issue and using hearing aids and i feel i can counter this problem in interview.

You first have to get yourself a special CNIC for disabled persons in order to be considered for a reserved seat. If you do have one then i think you should apply for disability quota owing to lesser competition.

I am asking if i compete on open merit than will this affect the selection? I want to get the answer from any csp or any such person with disability who have qualified the exam.

If your question is whether you will be penalised for not appearing under a disabled seat, then the answer is no.
At the same time, please make sure that you are able to perform a 100% during the psychological stage as well as the interview.

Thanks for the reply. If the distance in interview is normal, usually like a distance of a table between the interviewers and candidate then i will have no problem.
