Exclamation Delay in CSS'21 Application Date

Yesterday afternoon while I was watching a private news channel, I came to know that there will be reforms in the Civil Service Act 1973. According to a report, FPSC will be making ammendments according to following steps.

1. Removal of Office Management Group (OMG)
2. Addition of a new group "National Executive Service"

If I am not wrong, this is the reason in delay for application date for CSS-CE-21, due to which no one can see online form for applying at fpsc.gov.pk.

Please comment if you have something to share in this regard.

1. Name of the news channel?

2. All of this is part of the CSS 2021 reforms which have been proposed by the reforms committee under Dr. Ishrat Hussain, but as far as I know, PM's cabinet hasn't approved them yet.

Query to 2:
I also came to know about that, but how much time will they take? And is my point valid that they're taking more time than usual due to the discussed issue?

Yeah, FPSC usually announces about the exam in May/June, then they open applications in Sep/october. The initial advertisment was probably delayed due to Corona, but they should have published it by now. Anyways we will know for sure by October about any reforms and delays.

Assistant Commissioners are abolished under new Local government act in Punjab
In 2019, PTI led punjab government reinstated the local government structure with some major critical reorientation in it's previous structure. According to the proposed legislation, the new local government setup will be a completely autonomous governing body elected and constituted at city, Tehsil and village levels. All the municipal administration powers are conferred to said elective councils with directly elected heads of local governments. I would like to know about the fate of the once glorious PAS after such arrangements, whose Deputy Commissioners at district levels will be washed out of their administrative powers. I have also read about Cheif Officer designated directly under Tehsil Council responsible for the entire administration of its concerned Tehsil. After such radical rearrangements, what will be the case with Assistant Commissioners? Please clarify.
I also think that such frequent maneuvering with the administrative cadres is somehow equivalent to the exploitation of the unprotected professional rights of the civilian bureaucracy. Ironically there is no formal channel of communication to convey such professional sentiments to those elected personals whose policies (Despite proven faulty over the times) are not favorable to the decorum of their service. Even the elites of PAS and other affectees by the said legislation are silent on the subject just because of a blanket concept that they don't have any mandate to participate. After all civil servants have political role if not so called legitimacy. Please Comment

Default CSS Reforms

Yes it is now obvious that css reforms are coming and most probably css is going to be delayed. But pms cader is planning to launch country-wide agitation movement by last week of September having their own concerns regarding new reforms. Things are going to be messy for aspirants. Nonetheless, all are advised to focus on their preparation and leave the rest to Allah.

I am extremely worried about my age limit. I am currently 29 years old and CE-2021 will be my first and last chance to appear in the Competitive examinations.I pray that the application process would be completed before December so that my age limit doesn't get affected by it.

If there is a delay in exams , then they will give relaxation to the ones who have got age related issues. Remember you were eligible according to rules till now ,if there will be a change in dates then it's not going to effect this thing. Still you will be eligible.
This thing is true that they advertise in June/July and then October is a month to apply most of the times but this time there were no advertisements in june/July but still I think that exams will be held in February. Aspirants must prepare thinking this thing in mind that they can't rely on this thing of advertisement not coming till now. They must prepare having month of February in their mind. If there are more months then they will be good for revision. But if there are not ,then it will be difficult for aspirants with this mindset to tackle that whole situation.
