Timeframe for CE

Dear All,

It has been debated a couple of times but not a single elucidated reply has been given regarding the timeframe of CE. We, all aspirants, shall appreciate if the respected forum members and seniors can provide us with the following valuable information regarding CE timeframe. Obviously, these would be average.

Exam - Written Result:
Written Result - Viva:
Viva - Final Result:
Exam - Allocation:

Allocation - Start of Training:
Start of Training - End of Training (for various groups):

Aspirant - Officer:

As far as the time line is concerned no one can sure of it because of the inherent problems in our system well known to everyone although a tentative sketch can be made as per following:

Written Results: Sept-Oct 2009
Viva Voce: Nov-Jan 2009-10
Final Results: Feb-Mar 2010

Start of Commons: Nov 2010

I hope you will get a gist of how things have worked previously and are likely to be unfolded in the future.

Based on the previous trend, the timeframe for CE can be summerised as follows:

Exam - Written Result: 5-6 Months
Written Result - Viva: 2-3 Months
Viva - Final Result: 2-3 Months
Exam - Allocation: 9-12 Months

Allocation - Start of Training: 6-8 Months
Start of Training - End of Training (for various groups): 2-3 years

Aspirant - Officer: 3.5-4.5 Years

I am not 100% sure about the training period (2-3 years). Please correct me if I am wrong.
