@ Huma Shah
I have talked to Sir Usmani of GCU, he was also referring NOVA. NOVA has introduced some packages, to attract students like refunding the whole fee, if CE exam is not cleared, now 50% refund. Apart from that i have also heard KIPS is also going to launch its venture in that premises. Regards

I've got the taste of all famous academies in Isb/Rwp (NOVA,NOA & KIPS) ...and realized that academies are not useful in terms of their commitment and what they deliver, plus they charge a very heavy amount for coaching (Rs 30,000 - Rs 60,000)...They are just "baniyas" ..they even charge for an extra amount of Rs,2500-Rs3000 for small quantity of notes...they are just doing business n making money whereas the quality of education is zero...Mr.Mazhar (NOVA) is undoubtedly great teacher of English but he charges heavy amount to deliver those few tips of attempting English paper...n few pages of English notes...which one can read/understand himself...There is no test/assessment system in any academy...no essay writing practice...etc...Mr.Manzar (NOA) whom i call Baba e CSS is a living Einstein...but again he is only one useful person in whole acadmey...he is working as DDO Mansehra...so he has very limited time for aspirants (maybe once in a week)...so basically he is an attraction to catch students like KIPS have Dr.Shahid....plus all these persons have skills in limited number of subjects...
I would advise you to prepare yourself at home or in a group (who have same optional) ...visit cssforum regularly...It will help you a lot in every subject....I am also planning to appear in CSS-2011...If u (anyone in Rwp/Isb) need any notes u can get them photocopied from me...I've notes of all compulsory plus almost all optional subjects...but i'll suggest u to make ur own notes if possible...anybody who wants to get notes can email me at ***** ... As far as academies are concerned, they are just joined to have complete orientation regarding CSS exam. CSS forum is a great discussion platform where you can put questions regarding any ambiguity in your mind and get instant replies in a couple of hours. As far as notes and reading material are concerned provided by these academies used by a lot number of candidates. CSS is no more a simple exam. It requires immense research work to make and present your material in exams in a different way. For that purpose, there is a dire need to explore more or less two books on each subject. I have taken the attempt of CSS 2010 and I am in a position to guide you how to cope this exam without joining any academy. I have also posted some useful threads regarding making notes and strategy for CSS: You can also take guidance from them like: http://www.cssforum.com.pk/beginners...ive-exams.html http://www.cssforum.com.pk/beginners...ive-exams.html You can also contact me on my email given in my profile for material and notes.
