Default Are CSPs allowed to give a second attempt?

Dear seniors,

kindly guide and oblige!

well, an aspirant gave me a startling news today . . .stating that once u have cleared CSS and u have been alloted to a specific group, u will not b allowed to give a second attempt to improve / switch to another Department. . .. i have no means to get it verified except this forum, as i do not want to utilize my 2nd attempt only to get to know that it was in vain! !
and one more thing on my mind is, those candidates who have been allocated and they r in service/ probationers, can they give another attempt and wot is their age limit? do they get any relaxation in the number of attempts or age limit. .

if any one can answer these, i'll b thankful!

Between the ages of 21 and 28, you can give three attempts. No one can stop you from any further attempts even if you qualify from 1st or 2nd attempt. It won't even have an effect on your marks whether interviewer/examiner knows you've already qualified. You should start prep definitely within June, majority of people take part from Punjab and KPK and competition is very tough.

Also stop listening to every idiot you see about CSS, use this forum, majority of qualifiers utilize this forum and they are very knowledgeable and helpful

Saria bibi, i think its two years of service before you get two years age relaxation.Although govt servants get two years relief as it is so will some one qualify for age relaxation on the first day of CTP, whether two years include both trainings or just actual office work.

None of this should be a concern to the Opening poster because, she has a second attempt, she would work hard and intelligently to get a group of her choice and not wait for relaxations and all other rubbish

Shikva is a jewel in the roughShikva is a jewel in the roughShikva is a jewel in the rough
Arrow

Jazbati hony ki zrorat nae hai

As it happend with 38th CTP,it can be made as a regular policy
but if one is not satisfied with his current allocated group,he can defer his/her training and re appear and then join the training and during training he would be able to appear for interview/psychological........

Wesy a suggestion to all........
If you people can not bear the comments of others then
apny ap ko thora or mature kro and then iss forum py aoo

her baat py behass braye behass ya aik dosry ko necha dekhanay sy kuch ne hona
just try to be decent and polite
No offence and sorry agr kisi ko bura lga ho pr its a general suggestion(not for a specific person)
stay safe

There is no bar to improve your occupational group.
Examples, Tariq Saleem Dogar(former IGP and current Member PPSC) improved from Income tax to PSP.
Haji Habib-ur-Rehman(former CCPO lahore, and current Commandant Punjab Constablery), from Tax to PSP.
Kamran Lashari(former Chief Secretary Sindh, and DC Lahore in good old days) from OMG in 3rd common to DMG in later batches.
Mirza Shamsul Hasan(former DIG elite force Punjab, current posting not known), from a v poor group in 3rd common into Police in 4th common batch.
Current years example: The Son of Mr. Tauqeer Ahmad Faiq(Former DMG officer 3rd common/ex-federal secretary), Presently AC Abottabad. He improved from perhaps Income tax, and currently he is in DMG.

So remain relax.
