yeah i had bn there. sir Mazhar Saeed heads the academy. he is a superb teacher of essay and composition and also of current affairs. it is a good academy. but i joined it a year b4. i dun know who is in their faculty right now. u may first visit it and ask about the faculty.bcoz it is the faculty that makes the difference and the persons in faculty keep changing from time to time in these academies.
definitely i had a wonderful experience with sir mazhar saeed.

In my view, do not join NOVA academy. Most of the claims of that academy are false. Now a days the man there (Sir Mazhar) claims that 9th position holder of CSS-2010, M Ali Asghar, was his student but M Ali Asghar teaches at National Officers Academy.

For subjects selection, you may consider general and scoring subjects that do not require any relevant background like Sociology, Journalism, Muslim law, any regional language, Psychology, International law or International relations(if you have good knowledge of current/worlds affairs)

See past papers and syllabus before opting any optional subject.

then what do u think which is the best academy?

Mazhar is a clever imposter. I think he is not formally educated. He knows how to collect money from the pockets of aspirants. Don't go there otherwise few words from his mouth will trap you. Self study is the best option.

i personally went there for some days and then left it.
first they provide NOTES of worth Rs 4000. then u will have to riot them.
second they teach u Extra studies.
remember, CSS need selective study and there is no extra time in exam to study and revise course.

mostly css aspirants and toppers advice not to join academy.
they said just study standard and selected course.
so U must decide what to do?

CSS Acadmy

Atleast one should have proper guideline for CSS.
Acadmy should be just visited for this purpose.
