Default division to gpa? (and some other newbie queries)

AOA all members.

I've browsed the forums for quite some time to learn from all the experience our senior members have shared on this forum. However, there are some particular questions left unanswered in my quest .

1. I'am studying in a University that follows a GPA system. Thus what is the required GPA to be eligible to apply for CSS?

2. I have got pathetic handwriting. This never bothered me (because I was doing O-Alevels and handwriting is never a criteria there), but it does annoy my teachers at times here at University. Will it be the same case in CSS? can a bad handwriting lead to lower marks?

3. I will graduate in the next two years Inshallah. However, I'am doing a second Bachelors privately from a Government University (to gain knowledge, experience, and a degree in a year). My B.A will be done in less than a year (I'am half way through). Coming to the point, Should I submit my BA degree with forms and send them earlier, or wait another year and send my other much more prestigious degree from a prestigious business school?

4. I'am overweight, and my BMI falls in the obese range too. Exactly how much can that matter in selection process?. Is it essential to bring it down to a particular level?. I'am 6 feet tall, and broad too, how much weight would get me through the medical tests?

5. LASTLY, should I start preparing now, or once I have registered? I do not want to start to early and loose the momentum later.

My buddy all your fears are baseless. It seems like you have overrated the css. Just calm down and relax. All you need to become an officer is a bit of common sense, good english writing skill, 3 hours of daily study for one year and a little bit of lady luck to get the topnotch positions.
Bad handwriting won't cut your marks low but why don't you improve your handwriting when you can? Just buy yourself calligraphy notebooks and write slow, really slow and all it takes is 40 days to get your handwriting neat and sweet on the sheets.
Obesity shouldn't be a matter, but it will be better to look cooler being an officer and for your own self-confidence. Visit a doctor dietrician to guide you in balanced diet and proper exercise.
About starting, start as early as possible and start with general knowledge and english grammar.
About degree, get your prestigious degree from the prestigious business school, submit it dashingly with the fpsc and let them know you are the best.

In GPA system, Marks and Percentage are also mentioned on DMC. So there is no need to worry about.

Thanks for the kind reply . I have not overrated it, InshAllah I will clear it with flying colors . It just a few eligibility queries, and I'am still lost on the GPA part.

Need more suggestions from fellow members

DMC is Detailed Marks Certificate. Eligibility criteria is 2.50 out of 4.00 CGPA. Try to maintain your CGPA above 3.00.

Your percentage is fine. But in some universities, minimum GPA to obtain degree is 2.50 for B.Sc and M.Sc. So you have to maintain your GPA above 2.50.

But in our university minimum GPA required to obtain the degree is 2.00 out of 4.00.
So?
