For psychology
Spencer A.Rathus
Feldman
Both books are dominantly referd in psychology but along with these books you can refer sheher Bano's books (part A nd B).

Plan:
Start with Bismillah
Go through past papers of psychology till 2000.
Then make an sketch in your mind that which chapters n which questions are important.
Now after having a particular idea of those chapterz open Spencer A.rathus(let me tell u here once look at course outlines provided by fpsc bc by looking at these topics you will be precise n around the point) study introduction to psychology where u have to cover
A.what is psychology
B.Previous definitions of psychn
C.psycho as a science and science of behaviour
4.schools of thought(dnt be confuse in schools of thought, once u completed the whole psycho then u would understand what actually these schools of thought are?)
5.scope of psychology(matlb branches n specialities of psycho)
6.recent trends in psycho

Its all about chapter one...i'll post plan for other chapterz if you like.

Thanks a lot for your help. Where can I get updated course outline (syllabus) of all subjects by FPSC for 2013?

Secondly, I have chosen these options and am confused between two. I would appreciated if somebody help me.

Psychology
Geography
Business Admin
Journalism OR Sociology

Q1- Am confused between journalism and sociology, what should I select. Journalism is easy (in my opinion) but sociology is inter-related with psychology.

Q2- Geography and psychology are 200 marks subjects, with lengthy syllabi, would it be wise to opt for them?

you are always welcome.
Course outlines provided by fpsc are availble in fpsc's website and also mentioned in Jehangir's past papers.
In my opinion sociology would be a wise decition as its interrelated with psycho alongwith a stagnant scoring subject,it means u can score bw 55 n 80 but never below 50.on the other journalism can give low score as its dynamic in scoring trend.
As far as psycho is concerned its precise, easy to understand nd interesting.
Sorry,i dnt know about geography as its not my optional subject.i have heard its scoring like psycho but lengthy and its paper is very much tough.
