PUNJABI and my blunder
i think ive destroyed my css chances greatly by opting for punjabi-i made this choice as few friends convinced me thats its very easy and they prepared it in like 3-4 days without any previous background obviously of punjabi.
Now that its done, can i still plead to fpsc if they would let me change subject? My only background with punjabi is i can converse a bit in basic punjabi. Problem is when m trying to read it from jahangirs book i cant understand 80% of the words and i obviously cant write it even. 8 subjects ans less than 2months to go for me, n i feel punjabi is gng to be my achilles heel. If i cant change it, then i request all seniors qualifiers members to guideme as to how i can do punjabi good enough in 5 days. PLzzzz i need urgent replies i will be very grateful God bless |
panjabi is not my subject but if you cannot understand 80 percent of the words which u read in jahangir book then i think u should replace this subject, write a letter to fpsc tell them you by mistake circled panjabi and you want to replace it with some other subject, also call them on their number. there are certain easy subjects which can be prepared in 4-5 days like sociology journalism and public administration. You should go for any one of these.

About help, dear i cant do anything. since i have no know how about it. i hope our forum buddies will come up with good suggestions for u. |

Unless i get a magic formula to do it in 5-6 days from the gurus i think i ought to change it :( Who should i address the application too? If u know do let me know And rest...guys help me out pleasee |
You cant prepare it in 4 or 5 days bro...Its not that easy but its not that impossible to do as well...I think you should drop it as time is short for css 012...It took me 8 months to understand it...4 or 5 days is not a time to prepare a language..it needs considerable time..

THnx. I think that settles it. I should drop punjabi. But question is will fpsc bother to accomodate my request and application. Can the 10 extra days they give to online applicants be used as my argument? I cant do anything before 9th Dec which is monday... Oh god what have I done :( |

Oh god what have I done :([/QUOTE] oh my brother fpsc will certainly entertain your request. you just write an application by addressing Assistant Director CSS for changing your subject. its not a big issue. so dont be purturbed and remain focused on your studies. |
dont be panic

Thanxxx alot marilatif..i did exactly as u told me.wrote application and visited assistant director css. And voila! Unexpectedly and shockingly it was quite easy and AD CSS gave me 'unofficial' clearance to go for journalism instead. He said its not a problem it will be changed. So thats that then :) really relieved.thnx to all. P.S. Are they going to use my application against me if i clear? Lol God bless |
