Default Joining civil service from army officer
It is said that an Army officer at the rank of captain can switch over to join civil service only by giving an interview at GHQ Rawalpindi as there are 10% seats reserved for Army officers. if any body knows that he has to first resign from Army and then give interview or he may be remained an Army officer if he did not qualify that interview...what you think mates?????

yeah they do come. and u are right 10% quota is reserved for them.

however, they do not resign from army. they just give interview to the panel. if they got selected, they will join the civil service. they can go back to their previous job during training if they want to.

if any one is rejected by the panel, he does not lose his army job and remains there as captain .

is this facility also available to those who are selected through Direct Short Service Commission as a Captain. for instance ARMY ENGG CORPS , ICTO ; MEDICAL BRANCH etc...

no its not. only long service commission officers are eligible.

GHQ Selects candidates from Units/Regiments on basis of their performance - GHQ Selects, Mil Officer can't do anything in this regard. Mostly Officers from Balochistan, Sindh, Gilgit are selected.

They simply appear before Interview Panel.

(If you have a "3 Star General" 'Pawa' - You can Join(I know few officers Joined in this way - This is Pakistan Man) However don't take this Final.

However If an officer want to appear, he can by taking NOC from his Commanding Officer, in that case he 'll appear on Open Merit. Graduation(they did in PMA Kakul) is acceptable to appear.

Default Leaving Army for CSS
It is only immature person who would do this. Level of safety, stability, respect, facilities in forces is unparallel. An ASP can never dare speak in front of Major, which normally an officer becomes. Even Subader is enough to talk to DIG in case a problem of conflict arises. It is better to leave CSS and join forces than to leave forces and join CSS.

Times are changing. A major can't do anything in front of an ASP. I speak because I know. But of course the bigger ranks in the army are far more powerful but this power is not legal or constitutional.

bro,sorry dont mind but is this sensible discussion that either major or ASP is powerful.who can speak or not..who is more powerful..every field has its own merits and demerits.better discuss ideas rather power of danda.

But when one is in field; law enforcement agenices have somehow competition of Who is capable of what and so on. Here Major is superior to DIG Police
