Default Element of luck in CSS, justified or not!!!

Dear all,
since iv'e joined the forum, iv'e been listening a lot about the element of luck in one's success in this most prestigious exam. there would be many who would disagree with me but truth be told...there are 12 papers in CSS, then psychological assessment and ultimately viva voce and even one is not sure of his success until he/she gets the final allocation...the other name of luck is "TUKKA" so it means that one who goes through all these stages and successfully pulls off in the end been able to do so by mere good luck...
Don't you guys think that we underestimate somebody's hard won accomplishment by calling it tukka...??? is it justified?...it is not like a shot in the dark, one strives for that and strives hard...kindly comment on that without being prejudiced...
i think first of all it is ALLAH's blessing then our hardwork and that's all..no more than that...

Default @Bilal Hussain.

No doubt,50% CSS is hard work and 50%luck plus prayers.it is possible that you fail in exam with hard work and studies but it is impossible that you get position without hardwork and luck..one school of thought is that, the more hard working you are,the more lucky you are but i believe you can never rule out luck, prayers and wishes from your parents, teacher and well wishers.

Well bilal i certainly agree with your last line. There are two factors of success; One is Luck(Allah's blessings) and second one is hard work.
These two factors are not only self-competing in fact they are mutually overlapping also.Undoubtedly, everyone in papers works hard particularly pupils who get themselves qualified in written, however it is equally important for them that their hard work is in consonance with the trends of papers(prayers will play the role in this regard and give toiling efforts a right dimension).

The crux is that Allah's blessings is above all, after that comes your vision(which is again a potential imbued by Almighty Allah in your personality) and lastly comes an effort to enhance luck by consistent prayers and vision by consistent hard-work ..May Allah bless you. :-)
Regards.

In favour of luck I would just quote of one of well known Pashto poet Rahman baba who said " Don't ask for wisdom O Rahman, Luck is good rather... as wise are the slaves of lucky ones."

But one should not stop hard work only for this sour truth that luck wins over hard work. Because here again is a proverb in Persian which states " Himmat e marda'n , Madad e Khuda" means a hard worker is helped by Allah.

Dear members, thank you very much indeed for sharing your opinions...
i would like to make one thing very clear here that when i say LUCK, i do not mean the blessing of ALLAH almighty which indeed is above all and without which we can do nothing as every thing that has happened in this world right from Adam to this day is with ALLAH's order and same will continue forever...
i said luck means mere TUKKA what is intended by most of the people around, if someone has prowess at something and the other says that he gets the work done on sheer luck than he undermines the prowess of the person thereto...
so personal ability which is the linchpin of success in CSS is underestimated..this is what i meant...

How can you mix up the meanings of luck with Tukka. Tukka is something else. CSS examination is not an objective paper that can be solved by tukka, it all depends on hard work. No doubt luck plays an important role but merely in a case.

If you say so then it means that all those aspirants who succeeded in CSS, made a tukka. That is named thier mere luck ?

Insan mehnat aur koshish kr sakta hai, dua kr sakta aur duaye lay sakta hai..

yehi us ka ikhtiyaar hai yahi tak uski hudud hain, ho sakta insan jis chez ki khoshaish karay wo us k haq mein behtar na ho aur jis chez ko bura janay wo us k haq mein behtar ho, haqeeqi ilm to Allah rabbul izzat k pas hai, insan ka ilm to buhat he naqis hai....

Jo shukr krta hai uski nemato mein izafa kia jata hai aur na shkri insan ko Allah k inamaat say mehroom kr deti hai

Aik hadees ka mafhoom hai

Jo kam rizq par razi hojaye Allah us k kam amaal par razi ho jata hai...

Allah swt hum sab ka hami o nasir ho..

There is no such thing as "LUCK" in CSS, LUCK is a fantastic word often used as a defense mechanism in order to achieve self satisfaction -- That's just what I think, I can be wrong, but that's how I see it
