about B.A and CSS

iam doing bachelors privately

i want to ask that will the examiners of B.A and CSS check the english composition and grammer only in english subject ? or in all subjects?

another question. How many marks or above those marks ,will make my second division in Bachelors

Grammar will only be checked in English and Essay papers but bad grammar in other subjects negatively impact the marks obtained.
50% marks= Second Division.

If you make grammar mistakes in any paper it becomes hard for the examiner to understand what you want to say and things just lose their sense if you make grammar mistakes and sometimes the whole meaning of a sentence changes. Phir log kehte hain paper to bohat acha hua tha pata nahi kiun number nahi ae.
In other papers you are not required to use flowery phrases and jargon.Just write in simple English.
And if you have enough good English that you can write a good essay free of grammar mistakes then there is no need for such a question.

Dear in the subject of English its obviously mandatory but in other subjects gud/correct english although not mandatory but it definitely works as a gud impressionist
regarding ur second question i wud say dat 360 marks out of 800 wud definitely get u a second div in ur b.a. exam or if u talkin abt percentage it wil make around 40% to 45% marks

dear exactly 50% marks arent required to get a second div its lyk more dan 40% but less dan 50% bcoz at 60% u get a first div

Dear Members,I am doing B.A as a private candidate from Punjab University and only 4 months are remaining for the preparation before the final exams ,And i have started it now because I was a science student and have done fsc ,so I was preparing to go abroad after fsc but unfortunately did not do so,and was not expecting doing ba but circumstances forced me to do so .Now I need help and guidance from the css aspirants who have done BA and from members also.Please provide me some notes or material related to my subjects.
1.Pol Science [elective]
2.Arabic [elective]
3.persian [optional]
And also tell me some tips ,how to get great marks in these subjects in this short time.

well if you afford tuition fee then you must join Officer Academy or Kips css academy it will help you alot

yes ,I will ,can you please tell me how much I have to pay for English and Pol science ,And will they teach BA english? ,I have to cover whole syllabus and test session also in these 3 or may be 4 months.ANd pol science is in urdu.

Hollowman...dont worry mate,i am myself a Engineering drop out and after Doing BA im aspiring for CSS,i had some what the same ELECTIVES as you except for ARABIC i had INdo-Pak History....
First of all you dont have 4 months....exams of BA start almost in APRIL...so you have 5 months and you dont have to worry about that cox

1.you have FSc background which means you are accustomed to hard work.
2. Dont Worry about the Arts subject,its more of a RATA stuff except ENGLISH paper where you got to have a analytical approach for the paper.
3. Buy 5years PAST PAPERS easily available in the market go through them and you'll know that most of the questions are repeated.
4.Prepare some important Questions along with Repeated Questions.
5. for Pol. Sci go through the DOGAR's Book....for Persian buy QURESHI sons....but your biggest nightmare is ENGLISH....its much different then FSc....read the text for sure and try to understand what the story or writers is talking to you...there are 4 books(Novel,Poems,Short story,Essays)....Don't overwhelm youeself..you can do it...
