passing css in first attempt.How?
 

AOA all members, i was thinking to start the preparation for 2014 exams. As i want to clear it in first go.
Suggestions and guidance required.

i want to appear in 2014 CE, also in dire need of fellow members who can join & start up for compulsory subjects with me ...... :closedeye

sure i am a CSS aspirant too.

well it is not very difficult to qualify it in very first attempt and you guys have 1.5 year to prepare, yet if you don't qualify it in first attempt, don't be surprised as CSS is nothing like Matric or Inter Exams.....it takes a synergistic approach in which your knowledge must be supplemented with a systematic and analytic style...i wish you guys luck in your endeavours...

i suggest you to please put sincere effort in it and go wholeheartedly then don't worry, you will go through, don't hesitate or fumble from headwinds that make the journey difficult, remember my words there is no well trodden path to success...
i appeared in CE 2012 with 38 days prep, i secured 627 marks and fell in English Precis, i have record breaking scores in BA Punjab University in English but here they failed me, though i passed Essay...so it is a gamble that needs passion and patience...Go ahead with full thrust...

well guys if we work together and follow guidance of seniors, we would surely achieve our goal....
whether we make outline of past questions & essays or share data ..... we will get variety of ideas but important thing is honest opinion/suggestions and balanced feedback all in systematic manner .....

Maturity

There is very simple recipe for this, in order to clear in first stroke, you approach must be like 2nd or 3rd attemters. .e.g must think mature and act mature both pre-exam and in examinational hall. Dont get obsessed with idea that you are appearing in first attempt to have a feel of css exam atmosphere.
This approch cost many candidates one attempt.

Exam before exam.

Another important aspect is going through pre exam tests, some say crash tests, by strictily following time and have a real feel of exam anxiety before actual exam. Don't try to learn in examination hall. Rather, discover shortcomings before exam and work on them.

Time management

You will come across hundreds of thousand of people who, after appearing in first attemp, will tell you how poor they were in their time management. Make sure you are not one of those.

Extensive writing pracrice.

People tend to put writing practice at the backburner before exam. Whole attention is paid at cramming and learing every thing by heart. This is a costly habbit that need to be avoided.
