Default age calculation on year to year basis or?
m dob is aug 1984 n in m opinion i hve two years left for appearing in css,i.e 2013 wud be my last atempt as far as age is concerned,,, on visiting Civil Service of Pakistan and using age calculator i was a little disappointed to know that 2012 would b my last chance. As on dec 2012 i wud b IA 28 yrs so how come i cudnot apear for 2013 feburary/jan css exam being 28 as age limit for css...can any one confirm it pl.

On the basis of existing age criteria and set cut off date:

You can avail CE-2012 attempt (By assuming your D.O.B as 1st August 1984 you will be 27 Yrs, 5 mnths, and 0 dys old).

You can not avail CE-2013 because you will be 28 yrs and 5 mnths old on 1st Jan 2013.

what is the age cratiria of css for balochistan candidates ? is it 28 or 30 years?

it's 30 years for candidates from Balochistan. Specially from tribal areas of Balochistan.

Sir one of my friend's age is 01/05/1981, while she's applying for CE-2012. Is she eligible?

She is a contract base govt employee and from tribal area of balochistan I think from pishin. But she has sumitted her forms for CE-2012 and she regularly took clsses for CSS at academy with us, no one guided her about age rules.

Dear All,
Good day. I just want to know that whether I am eligible for CSS exam 2014. My DOB is January 09, 1986. On 1st of January 2014 I will be of 27 years age but on January 09,2014 my age will become 28 years.

Kindly help me in this.

I am also a bit confused about how many attempts i'm left with.
my date of birth is 1-jan-1987.
Am i correct to assume that i still have two attempts left, those of 2014 and 2015?
