It would be good for new comers......(english)

ASSLAM O ALIKUM DEAR MEMBEERS...
This is English translation of my ex thread which was in Urdu.

i am writing some observations and tips that may be good for css aspirnts,i would like to wellcom other respected seniors members to share their experience,i have been attached to css for a long time,i see some students on css forum as well as in real life they make themselves upset in searching high and low scoring subjects
ok it is normal question but its make me surprise that they have master degree but yet can't select subjects for them.
now i would like to share my experience with you people
dear members always keep in mind that you have to become a csp, make decisions then why do't you make this decision by yourself?
consider some points
choose a subject of your choice suitable to your background and interest instead of choosing on other's recommendations
everyone do't have same mental level.some take a subject easy while others take the same subject tough.Following the scoring and trendy subjects is of no use as these subjects keep changing annually.Have you ever consider that nearly 15000 candidates take part in css exam each year 80% of which fail due to primary reason of following scoring subjects or subject selected on loan from others. This is no use because your mind does't easily digest those subjects.Afterwords written exam qualifiers or rocked by psychologist and interview board because subjects selected not according department can"t lift them high in merit.Ultimately they fail too...
Now consider what you have to do..
First, prepare yourself mentally for css exam and discard its fear your from your mind to feel relax. Then read rule regulations of css exam then come to subject selection. You must have some subjects in your background.Consider these subjects first and review their syllabi, if you can cover, opt it.I am sure 60 to 80% can be cover from your educational background.
If you are missing a subject, opt a subject related to your other background subjects.Try to choose a subject of humanities
Now if you are confusing which one to choose among 2 or 3 subjects then select one closer to your background or interest,if you are still in trouble discuss with a senior.
No one is a master in every field, some are good in maths, some in literature and history, some are interested in law.Put these points before you.Do't regard CSS as a burden or giant other wise you will loose heart.
Your and others mental approach, methodology of paper preparation, confidence level, picking power, situation handling, understanding level and problem facing aren't same.
Never let other's choice dominate yourself. At least take your first decision by yourself.
I hope you will have got my point and will try to follow them.....
