Exclamation Can army cadet who have done bachelors take css exam?

I have few questions and looking forward for immediate responses

A person who have joined Pak Army through PMA long course after his graduation, can take css exam during his training in kakol and after becoming second lieutenant?

A person who have joined Pak Army through PMA short course can take css exam during his training and after becoming captain?

I have heard that 10% person quota is reserved for army officers for CSS and they don't have need to take written. Are Officer from rank of 2nd lieutenant eligible to join civil service ?

I 'll be very thankful if someone give heed to these questions with concrete information. .

Yes it is true that there is a 10 percent quota for military officers with the rank equivalent to captain and five years experience as an officer. They just need to give interview, written part is exempted for them. They can join Police services, Pakistan administrative Services and foreign services. It is proposed many times to abolish 10 percent quota. Here is a link for further detail

Cadets don't complete there graduation before the completion of PMA training period. Normal graduation takes two years to complete and PMA training period is also of two years. Some years ago when Army changed its merit from 50% to 60% then it started graduate honour, now cadets complete 2 years of graduate honours in PMA and two years of it in their regiment.

Written exempted CSS is only for those who have completed 2 years training, not for those who join army after post graduate and do 6 months training for captain.

Well, I have given these exams as an ex-cadet, wanted to appear in css even when I was in PMA. I don't think any cadet can appear in css while training in PMA, you simply won't have the time to think about it.
After training, there are two ways as far as my knowledge is concerned.
1. Officer can appear in the exam that army holds to allow officers to appear in css.
No need to mention that there is break-neck competition therein.
However, if he qualifies, he doesn't have to appear in written part of css.
2. If he is not selected by the army, he can still appear in the css exam. In that case he will give the exam in the nearby centre of his station. However, he will have to appear in all the papers. My senior from 123 L/C appeared in the exams this year in Sialkot centre.
This is as far as I know.
Regards,

Dear it is very simple. To appear in css on open merit you will require departmental permission that's requirement of fpsc. Now to get it you will have to apply to GHQ. There is a fixed criteria before you can apply for Departmental permission. Like in PAF it is 5 years of commissioned service. It may or may not be in army you may check from your adjutant if any such criteria is.
During cadetship there is no chance of gettting dept permission even few of my colleagues who have appeared in css before joining academy were not allowed to appear in interview as they have joined academy before the result was announced. And of course he was from graduate course.
About yout query regarding ssc or spsc. In PAF spssc are not allowed to appear both in
written as well as defence forces quota interview rest all are...
