Recently, I have got government job as a PST teacher. I have taken two attempts of CSS exam and upcoming would be last one. I am pretty confident that insha'allah Allah will bless me in this year. But I want to take my last attempt, if I skip next attempt, I think my age would be over age for CSS-2016 but I can attempt CSS-2015 withing age though. I have also qualified ASI Police test, however, I am one step away to get this job also. Nevertheless, my question is that, how many years I need to continue my government job to avail through proper channel. I have heard that we need two years service of govt job to avail through proper channel for CSS. However, I am alhamdulillah well prepared for CSS-2015 but if I join ASI Police training that is one year, might be I won't be able to take my attempt of CSS-2015 with that strength and enthusiasm. Now I am coming to the point, what is the rule of 'through proper channel'?. Having done one year govt. job, can I avail through proper channel? Some times, I am thinking that I should take my third attempt/CSS-2015 since I am well prepared and every thing goes to the level of perfection. I am in need of sincere suggestion.

I got my departmental permission for PMS in last months.
here no issue of duration of service.
you can.apply for CSS 2015

Please let me know that if I have done one year govt job, can I apply for CSS through proper channel in age 29 in 2016. One of my friends told me that I need two years govt job to avail age relaxation not one year. I want to take my last attempt in age relaxation. I am thinking to take CE16's attempt actually. Otherwise, I can simply take my CE15's attempt as I am so far 26+ years old.

please mention your job and agreement letter.
we are appointed as agreement and in beginning 3 0r 5 year contract basis.
on contract basis we can't use facilitation like.other permanent employees.
we can get age relaxation on permanent basis.
on contract basis we can't.

My job order says:

Subject: Offer order for the appointment to the post of BPS9.

With recommendation of District recruitment committee/NTS, you are hereby offered the subject post in Education & literacy department on the following terms and conditions:

Physical
Pay
Place of Service

The placement after appointment shall be school specific 3/5 years.

These are the things and I am about to get my joinging next month, everything is in process, hence, I just want to know if I join this govt job,then will I be able to apply for CSS-2016 or 17 on the basis of through proper channel in the age of 29 or 30 years to avail my age relaxation due to be Government Employer.

Apart from that, I am waiting for my appointment in Police aslo right after the last phase of Assistant Sub Inspector in Police, insha'allah, in upcoming three months I will have another appointment letter in Police job. So things are going good in this year. I am also waiting for CSS result which I have taken CSS-2014. After result, my strategy would might be changed, don't kow what would be the result but I am pretty confident to make through insha'allah. Now coming to the point brother, can I avail age relaxation? What is the way to avail this oppertunity and let me know have you also applied or willing to apply on the basis of through proper channel? '

You need 2 years of Govt service to avail age relaxation. I guess that's what you want to ask.

Applying through proper channel means getting Departmental Permission Certificate. No matter how many years of service you have you'll need DPC to apply for any other job than that of your current job.

and No you can not take CE-2016(29 years age as you mentioned) with one year service. You need 2 years service to avail age relaxation.

You can avail CE-2017 with 2 years service though. This situation can further be explained if you let us know what is your DoB and date of appointment in PST.

You can apply through proper channel for CE after completing two years service/job for 5 years. I want to say that 5 years age relaxation is granted by the government to apply for any CE.
But if you are well prepared then you should attempt this year for the exam. Any delay will suffer you.

Thank you so much guys. Although I can take my CSS last attempt in age relaxation but since I am well prepared and I want same consistency to the level of perfection and everything is going quite perfectly. Thus, I have finally decided that I am going to take CSS-2015. Apart from that 2014 has been one of the luckiest years for me. Insha'allah Allah will bless me and I will be making CE-14 too.
