what your guys experience says, that is one year enough for preparation with my part time job??...........................a question from senior csp officers.................anyone please guide me.

I suggest you that go through the CSS exams.
the reason is that you complete your 16 year education and also you got job.
MS can be done later because no upper age limit for this.
Second CSS is age restricted.
3rd your job and study in different cities so its difficult for you.
But you can prepare CSS easily and do your job.
4th CSS is game of mind and determination, if we do it it makes our life as well as our family life.
If you lose these chances whole life you think that if I appeared in CSS may be I do it.

its depends upon your interest and time management.
Many toppers top in few months.
Go to the

Go for CSS. Job security is only available in Government Services. Since you are 26 years old, and maximum age limit is 28, you should appear in CSS 2015 right away. As far as preparation is concerned, it can either be done in months or years. It all depends on you. I am sharing with you a 3 months timetable, which i made when i was preparing for CSS while doing a hectic Private Engineering Job.

Go for CSS rather than studying for two years and having no job after that.

Can anyone please guide me....................what will the current salary of fresh CSP officer ........during CTP and after that....................no doubt its a prestigious job but i just wanted to confirm..............please guide me according current scenario...........Seniors please comment

AoA Dear if you could clarify your exact DOB I can tell you exactly how many attempts you have left.

I ran calculations for Oct 1988 and by this assumption you are 26 years 6 months and X days old(as mentioned exact DoB would let me help you). Even if run calculations for 1st Jan 1988 to 31st Dec 1988 you'll still have 2 chances left.

So going with 1988 you have CE-2015 and CE-2016 only.

So you have to choose either CSS or MSCS and to do so wisely.

CSS is a gamble no one really knows what subject is going to be in torture mode in any specific year. So if you think you can take the risk you may do CSS but remember CSS requires dedication that most of the candidates lack(including myself).

My suggestion is you already have a job in your field and doing masters will further benefit you and CSS on the other hand is a game of luck and chance.

P.S. It is you who knows your bright and dark sides clearly, so it should be you who decides.

I would suggest that you keep your job and simultaneously prepare for CSS. Give the exam twice according to your chances and then you are free to do MS or anything else. An ideal situation would be that you only focus on CSS exam as job or MS with CSS prep is hard and can affect your performance negatively. However, I have seen many people here on this forum who had jobs and even little children to care for, yet they studied for a few months and got really good positions.

well as your guidance is concerned some one in family suggest me continue my MS n then go for some defence sector techinal gvt job is it more secure or good for girls then css please tell as you are already doing an engineering job..............and my dob is 16-05-1988.................your guidance will be highly appreciated thanks........which is best option as far future is concerned
