Hello everyone, I am currently a student getting my bachelors in finance from one of the best universities in the world. I have been living in canada for the last three years. My question is that would it be wise to leave Canada for CSS?
CSS seems like an attractive proposition but the salary of a 17th grade officer is absolutely dreadful, especially considering that if you get a MBA in canada you can make over 100 thousand dollars a year with a few years of experience.
Do CSS officers really have a good life? considering most drivers make more than 17th grade officers.

If you're in it for the money (as your thread suggests you heavily are), then CSS might not be the best thing for you.

If you opt to earn the money from a position of power, then again, CSS is not for you and would in fact be damaging to you and the country.

CSS is for people who want to make a difference in our country or simply want to make the lives of others better.

You can call it idealism, but in my eyes this is the best a CSP can opt for.

Living in canada you will make more money legally but if you serve your own country in civil service and want to help your poor people the CSS is better.

Its totally depend upon your that what you want in your life. If you want only money then Canada is best country. i was also given opportunity to marry a pakistani canadian girl but i refused for the sake of CSS and attempted CSS twice but failed now i am going for third and last attempt.but i am also regretting now that i lost opportunity of Canada. We dont know about ourself But Allah knows better that what is better for us.

IF you want power with normal legal money and want to serve your own country and people then CSS is better. I think Foreign Service is also best for you.

I think Haqiqat to yeh ha k agar CSS ho jay to best hai but agar CSS na ho to Canada best ha. So finaly decision is yours.

I would prefer MBA in Canada...Even if you are eager to be a CSP officer, do it after your MBA...
