Default Paper pattern according to the new syllabus 2015

Dear all,
Can anyone please clarify whether the marks allocated for mcqs and subjective part remain the same for 2016 i.e. 20% for mcqs and 80% for subjective part with each question of 20 marks(except Islamiat which has questions of 16 marks each). Also is the general science and ability paper going to have 50% mcqs and 50% subjective like that of EDS.
Thanks.

The thing that has really bothered me so far is that FPSC haven't provided any sample papers or paper pattern. Seriously, how difficult was it to do that?

FPSC Syllabus says on page 3:

Quote:
Note-3: The candidates should expect some objective
type question (MCQ’s) in compulsory and optional
papers.
Sadly, this tells us absolutely nothing. So we can only assume that there won't be any large scale changes.

Paper pattern of other papers will remain the same, i am pasting the original question from fpsc website which states as

What will be the proportion of MCQs in CE-2016 compulsory and optional papers.
Answer:
Ratio of MCQs in compulsory papers for CE-2016 will be 20 MCQs in each paper except in the paper of Essay. Similarly there will be 20 MCQs from each optional papers.

For general science

What will be the proportion of MCQs and subjective in the papers of General Science & Ability in Part-I & II?
Answer:
There will a 20 MCQs from Part-I, whereas subjective part will be of 80 marks i.e. 40 from Part-I and 40 from Part-II.

So the General Ability part will not involve any MCQs? What would be the nature of subjective questions?

I can not imagine a subjective aptitude portion. I thought it would be like GRE having quantitative and analytical parts. Believe it or not, there is no other way to ask such questions in a portion of 40 marks, called General Ability. It would look like philosophy or mathematics if put into subjective form. I still believe this portion would be objective type.

The FAQs on FPSC site clearly says it will be subjective. I'm not sure how that is possible.

I don't trust anything in Pakistan but one has to trust them when one is appearing in an exam that they conduct.
