1. For subject selection, I would recommend you to go through the Subject List first and choose yourself based on your educational background and interest respectively. Once you chose optional subject on your own, post your combination in the subject analysis section of this very Forum. It will be easy for others to comment on your subject selection and recommend you in this regard.

2. No Acadmey is best other than your hardwork, commitment and dedication. However you can visit some Acadmey for a month to seek initial guideline about the whole process. Once you are over with subject selection and preparation strategy, you can visit some good teacher regarding the subject you find difficult. Fot English I would like to recommend Sir Agha Mohsin or Madam Salma in Lahore . Sir Agha Mohsin teaches near Thokar Niaz Baig and Madam Salma (GC) teaches in Sabza Zar Colony Lahore. Moreover you can visit Jehangir World Times Acadmey in Gulberg for guidance.

Please post your query in the relevant section onward to get better facilitated and follow Forum Rules. This query should have been posted here . CSS Competitive Examination
Shortly this thread will be moved to the relevant section.
Good Luck :-)
