Exclamation Foreign Degree Equivalence

Assalamu Alaeekum Members,

I have just been wondering whether someone who is eligible on the basis of a local bachelors degree would need to (or should better) submit an HEC-equivalence of a foreign masters degree in the CSS application as well. Any pros and cons for submitting or not submitting the equivalence?

Anticipating helpful responses!

Thanks!

There is no need, it would only be necessary if your Masters degree is being used to meet the eligibility criteria. If you choose to submit an equivalence certificate irrespective of eligibility requirements you would not be credited in any way.

I asked this guy at the FPSC UAN who told me that it's required. Of course he didn't sound like an informed man, but nevertheless he was representing FPSC.

Now, anyone on the process? I have filled and submitted the online application. Should I post it or submit it by hand? How long will equivalence take? Please respond asap
