No it won't cause rejection.

Only possible difficulty will be interview location that will be selected by FPSC considering your postal address.

AOA Everyone.I have a question:

My parents generally belong to district Sialkot.I was born in Peshawar and got all from education(schooling to graduation) from Peshawar. I have domicile of district Peshawar and on my NIC, temporary address is of peshawar while the permanent address is of district Sialkot (from where my parents actually belong). Now is it against the rules of FPSC if i appear in css examinations using my domicile of district Peshawar ?

Seniors please answer.Thanks

It won't if you don't have domicile of Sialkot.

Being a student of law i would dare to disagree. As far i read there is difference betwen i.d card and domicile in sense that I.d card give you nationality i.e . To which country you belong but domicile gives you ,,CIVIL RIGHT ,,,. As job is civil right of every citizen(which he became through I.D CARD) he can claim that right through you domicile.

There would be certainly issue when a person holds two domicile which a is crime.

As i mentioned my friend got admission in uni on the basis of his FATA domicile even though he had a punjab i.d card.

Moreover when he wanted to apply for kpk pms he contact the KPKPSC and told them his situation they simply told him that HE CAN APPLY IF HE HAS FATA domicile.

I'm sorry but with whom do you disagree ? You didn't quote anyone nor mentioned anyone in your post.

If its me then my response to your post will be that yes you are right, and that's precisely what I said earlier that having two domiciles at once is a crime (not the exact words but that's what I meant) and address on I.D wouldn't get one's application rejected on the mere doubt of having a dual domicile because that's what normal people will think....right ?

Like I claim domicile of FATA but I have address of Punjab on my I.D card, so it will create suspicion that I might be trying to get away with restriction of age limit for CSS that is 28 for Punjab,KPK and Sindh but for Balochistan and FATA its 30 years. So it will create confusion but not ultimate rejection.

So that's precisely what I said that having permanent address on I.D card of different province than that of your domicile will arouse doubts for FPSC.

JazakAllah

Hello, I have a similar problem.

I was born, grew up and still live in Karachi, my parents have KPK domicile so I have permanent address of Lakki Marwat on my ID card, but on my birth certificate its listed as "born in Karachi-District South".

I have proof of living here for a long time ( birth certificate, school records/attendance , driving license etc)

My domicile hasn't been made yet, so can I apply for Urban Sindh domicile?

Default Domicile issue

Salam every one I was born in karachi but not raised there as my father was posted to different areas. My father had permanent adress of karachi on his id card but then we decided to change our permanent adress to rawalpindi we bought land there and then permanent adress of ours was changed. On my nic and domicile permanent adress is of rawalpindi but on my birth certificate the adress is the old one of my father of karachi. Will this cause any issue for the armwd forces and other institutions? And can the adress on my birthcertificate be changed? Also previously I did not posses any domicile the one of rawalpindi is my first one
