I applied for css 2016 for my first attempt. My domicile is from sindh rural (district larkana). The thing is that now i have shifted to Karachi which comes under sindh urban with my permanent home in karachi. my query is that if i do not take the exam of 2016 and apply for 2017 attempt with Karachi domicile. will it create a problem?

Brother don't panic. Have you changed your domicile too?
If not, then no matter wherever you live you belong to the place where you are born. Even if your permanent residence is in Karachi. But if you have made a domicile of Karachi too then it would become a problem for you.

i have not changed my domicile. I am going to change it to karachi domicile. css 2016 will be my first attempt. i applied for 2016 on the basis of my current domicile i.e larkana. i want to ask that if i skip this attempt, then will the FPSC challenge me if i apply for 2017 with new domicile i.e of karachi?

Why do you opt to change it if you belong to Larkana and if you have got domicile of Larkana? You don't have to change it to karachi because changing it might get you in trouble. If you are advised by someone in fpsc or in domicile office about it then it is okay. But i don't think so that it will be any problem for you if you belong from Larkana and your family is from Larkana.

ambivalent
Because in sindh rural , the dream of every child after being born is to obtain a bachelors degree and then appear in css. :P as an example, there is a guy from sindh rural on 36th position , he gets IRS. There is another guy from sindh urban , he is on 138th position and he is allocated PAS. This is the loop hole.

Okay brother. Then I really don't know about the procedure. You should call fpsc or visit their regional office, if there is one in Karachi. You can also ask someone close to you to visit fpsc head office, if he/she is visiting ISB any time soon.

Default Domicile

Hey, I heard Domicile is compulsory for openings in SBP/Government jobs.

I was born in Hyderabad(birth certificate indicates Hyderabad) and raised up in Karachi (current address is of Karachi) and permanent address(Karachi) mentioned on NIC is changed, I ll be turning 26 this December

So my domicile is supposed to be of Karachi or Hyderabad??
And as documents are required for domicile I dont have proof for the permanent address as we shifted so am i suppose to get the address changed in my NIC first?

Hi,

Both Karachi and Hyderabad come under SINDH (URBAN) category of domicile. Therefore, it does not matter.
Hope this helps.

Regards

Your recent pasport size pictures, nic of your father and mother along with utility bills are required for the process. Reached your concern DC office, get the form and submit it with all the reuired documents. You will get the domicile within a week.

If you want it urgent, that approach any broker working outside the DC office. You will get your dokicile on the same day.
