Answers in every paper

Aoa, i had joined an academy and one of the teachers who is serving in DMG told us that answer should atleast cover 10 pages. Back then i thought its quiet possible with introduction and conclusion and a few diagrams etc here and there. but lately i have attempted some practice tests at academy and i find it impossible to fill 10 sheets for each questions whatsoever. in thirty minutes you have to brainstorm and sequence and write neatly for 20 marks. So what is the least length acceptable to the examiner in any paper? kindly answer according to experience

Thats why teachers emphasize more and more on practice of past papers.its the only way to develop writing speed.because in paper you have to collect ideas simultaneously along with writing.

10 pages means 5 leaves
I think it is quiet possible, particularly in the subject of Islamiat, Pakistan and current affairs.

i didn't got this point. in some threads people suggest to write precisely and to the point. and you respected members are auguring about at least 10 pages. i think its the matter of quality not quantity. if the answer is well researched and written in quality English, would be enough.

i tried writing 10 pages atleast in an IR test... my last question was barely 3 pages n that too haphazard... same happened in islamiat paper... so atleast for me its not quiet possible and easy :(

In my humble opinion the claim above ie writing 10 pages in mere 30 an hour is a remarkable feat. Most of us can't go beyond 4-5. As you fairly stated, you weren't left with a lot of time for the last. There are two ways to go about it,
1) writing practice and maybe more 'efficient' utilization of space will lead to the 10 pages mark if that's what you want
2) as a brother pointed out above, focus on quality and justify your answers in the desired time regardless of the pages.

Maybe more experienced seniors can also give their opinion about the issue

Your teacher wanted students to increase their writing speed , so he gave you a target of 10 pages per question . But remember no one can answer all questions having this much length . He never said 10 pages to be exact . If you can write 6 or 7 , you will do fine (Y) .

hazelnut i think now you can answer what should be the appropriate length of 20 marks question. i have always encountered time management issue so kindly elucidate my query. moreover, please tell what are the key elements that must be included in answer?
Like do you think appealing introduction, historical background (if any), illustration, critical analysis, and conclusion would satiate the examiner?

Yes Alhamdolillah...Now i can answer my own query my average answer was 7 to 8 pages... And yes... Intro conclusion critical analysis historical background anything i found relevant i added it... Even aftermath in history paper..
But keep what is being asked much more detailed than your analysis and background etc. :)
