Default About screening test
Friends, I want ask that are they still taking screening test for CSS examination....? I heard that they cancel the screening test, but I wanted to be sure about this...

Kindly tell me, for CSS 2017, will there be any screening test?? and expected month in which screening test could be conducted, and for screening test what subjects should be go through

I think we need to wait for about 2 months. Everything will be cleared in april because fpsc is obliged to publish all rules and regulations ten months before the exam. As for as subjects are concerned one should start preparing compulsory subjects because screening test will be based on mcqs from English, Islamiat, Pakistan Studies and G.K. and probably Maths.

As per my info Establishment division has moved a summary on civil service reforms.
I am unable to share details due to strict rules of forum.
But soon as decision will be taken by pm whole package will be announced. It maybe earlier than april. So keep fingers crossed

Suppose if there is confirmed screening test, then at which month it would be expected to conduct the test, i mean how much time will be with a fresh candidate to prepare for the test. And is in the summary, age limit 30 years included or not??

Its a package. I have not seen summary as i am posted in planning ministry and not in estab.in estab joint secy cp. Two ayub ch was the focal person on civil service reforms from establishment division. It not only has age limit. Educational qualification. And cluster based papers and training changes with more enhanced focus on stp are salient features. It even has proposal for secretariat alowance for secretariat employees so they dont go after deputations. I am.not sure about screening test is in summary or not but yes it was agreement of all stakeholders on it in various meetings held on issue
Cant divuldge any further details. But it is confirmed that summary moved last week by estab division

One should start Preparation of compulsory subjects, because if screening test will held, this preparation will help them alot. All these matter will be clear before July 2016.

No news of the Screening test ? Does that means there will be no screening test for 2017 ? I have started preparing for compulsory subjects but one needs to have a different strategy for preparing the priority subjects if screening test is held. Does anybody knows anything about it ?????
