hi im very new to this forum .. i need some suggestions and guidance .. as i want to appear in 2017 css exam .. and only 4 months are left .. i have to start from scratch .. i done my bachelors in textile design .. what subjects should i choose which books .. in left with very less time and this is my last chance ..

You can prepare if you properly plan your preparation.
Subjects are excellent in which you are interested and have some background also.
Prepare compulsory subjects first.

i want to start with english .. so any particular books for this subject .. i-e for new vocabulary .. idioms etc

You can use multiple books for this purpose e.g English grammer by Wrin Martin, Exploring the world of english

Yes. You can read FPSC recommended books, but almost all aspirants use helping books with reference or general books because it save time as well as we get idea to construct an overview of topic.
Helping books are good if their writing , language , grammar and critical analysis in standard mode and we can save time and also can get maximum marks.
