Default dual degree
a student enrolled currently in an honors degree, who has also done private 2 years B.a, attempts and clears the CSS exam while the honors degree is still in progress, will there be an issue regarding the dual degree??

No, according to HEC notification in 2015, there is no issue now, provided that those universities had already given permission of dual degrees.

EC has explained it's new policy for dual degrees in same session/year. HEC now allows dual degrees in same session/year if certain conditions are met.

So now on you can easily take admission in one university as regular student and another admission in Distance Learning mode (For example AIOU) or in private mode in same/different university in same session/year. This combination of degrees is now recognized by HEC.

Only degrees issued after this notification will be considered.

It is worth mentioning that previously HEC refused attestation of dual degrees obtained in same session year.

I have attached notification from HEC, issued on 13 November 2015.
