Aa, i am in the same situation. i am working on the same hours and after the hectic day, its much difficult to even open the book. you have experience of preparation and exam but i don't have it either. although i am not senior, but one thing for sure bro, don't leave your job for css until you have someone financially supporting you. i think we people should make schedule of sleep and study after the 6pm. If after6 you sleep for 2 hours, you wil get your mind and body refreshed and prepared for 2,3 hours study. that's what i am trying to do now a days.

I see most of the forum's members suggest that don't leave the job and prepare along with it. Every other member is of the same opinion but I will suggest you something else. Though, I don't fully disagree with others and am of the opinion that if you take risk of leaving your job then you have only one thing to take care of and that is CSS exam, and your focus will only be on one thing. Moreover, you are just 25 years old and this is the time which you can best utilize to prepare yourself for the exam. I tell you what, I'm 27 years old but I feel that I'm not that energetic as I used to be when I was 25. So, if you take risk and prepare for the exam with full concentration then chances are that you'll clear the exam.

I think most of members here make an argument that if you are financially sound then take risk otherwise not but this statement doesn't always prove to be right. There's a guy who used to live in my street, he only had BA degree, and his family was not financially sound but even then he took a risk and started preparation for css exam, after his third attempt, he cleared the exam and got allocated. He would give just tuition to students for 2 or 3 hours, to manage his little expanses and never did a proper job but he succeeded because he had taken a risk. And I am not convincing you to must take risk of leaving your job, because after all you are only one who have to decide for yourself, but one can't ignore such stories of people who took risk and got through it.

yes its upto one's own decision, which should be taken after having everything into consideration. i am in a view that if i quit my job at the moment, i'll have to start from zero the next year (if in case i don't pass CSS). You should't be burning all the bridges behind you because you can't guarantee the circumstances you are going to face in near future. maybe i am not the optimist one..

That's pretty much impressive. You must go for second try. Actually quantomx is right too, there are people who managed to conquer the hardships they faced and yet stood victor, sense of deprivation works as fuel sometimes but it is not a right decision to self-impose it on ourselves.

i give you one suggestion. Don't left the job and start the preparation of CSS and after 2 or 3 years of preparation with job give the exams because now you have 2 chance also you have 5 year till 30 year of you age. So, take your time and after good preparation take the second chance of CSS Exams.

CSS is impossible with job unless you have given one attempt with full-time preparation. After first chance, you can take rest of the chances with a job. Even then, it would be very difficult because inevitably student syndrome will keep you away from book till last few months. Last few months of full-trme preparation would be needed in 2nd and 3rd chances. I gave CSS last year with full preparation and scored reasonable marks failing in precise. This year when I sat down to prepare, I realized that I had forgotten everything and had to start from scratch. In sum, if you want to give CSS with job, you will have no respite. As soon as you get back home, you will have to start studying. You will have to devote as much time in a full year as aspirant preparing full-time gives in last few months.

Nothing is Impossible in life. It someone have ability and courage then he/she can achieve what they want. I know many of CSP officers who qualify the CSS exams in single attempts with the job. So, its depends on capability of every person.

No. its not impossible, however, as you already stated it is a matter of fact that jobholder has to put far more effort then a regular student and also there are some distractions waiting, keeping one away from study when he commutes back to home. but ultimately, it is pivoted around you and your level of thirst to up grade yourself to a better state.
