Distance Learning Experience

Does anyone here have experience with Jahangir World Times or any other academy that offers distance learning service for CSS preparation?

Please share how does it work? I have received the material but it's not as it claims to be, like in the prospectus it mentioned that students will be put in touch with the course instructors and also there will be Skype sessions as well. But none of them has occurred yet.

And I am sent like over four subjects and assignments of all of them to do within 15 days. Of course they've broken it down and have mentioned which topics to do and also have sent the outline for assignment, but how do I study and get myself familiarize with all of them in two weeks?

I've limited to no knowledge of CSS compulsory subjects, so how do I go about them?

It's getting so overwhelming... I joined this forum for the purpose to get some support. Hopefully, you guys collaborate!

Thank you, wellington! I asked about distance learning...those who've shared their tips have no experience with distance learning programs. I need support and guidance from someone who has experience with DL program or online progs.

AOA... I have experience of distance learning program at PACE (Pakistan Academy of Competitive Examination) run by Ghias Hashmi. My experience over there so for is tremendous. I have learnt there everything about CSS. Sir Ghias is a one man Army. There, aspirants are not just guided but also encourage and motivated. Sir Ghiase has a different and vivacious method of teaching that helps the aspirants to understand the topic fully. As far as the assignments are concerned, PACE has a very unique assessment mechanism that I have never seen before. At PACE, our weekly tasks are assessed always individually and live. Our tasks are read and evaluated while talking with us in class.

Proud to be a PACEIN :clap

Thanks Easar for your feedback on PACE. Not really into online or distance learning programs offered by Pakistanis anymore, until it's of course by someone experienced in the field of distance or elearning like VC of Allama Iqbal Open University. Not everyone takes the responsibility but is more into marketing and getting the money & misleading the students into thinking that it's the best they could ever have.
