Default Result after December

Is the declaration of final exam result before December compulsory to sit in the exam? For instance,if final semester exam is taking place in September and the result will be issued in January.

If you are asking about CSS exam than yes it is compulsory. You need to submit copies of certificates (Not mark sheets) of all examinations and in case if you do not have degree of your latest exam you can send DMC but that should not be provisional. It should be final DMC completed in all aspects.
Exams are being held for jobs off course and they need to make sure that candidates applying for the post have desired qualification before applying. Once you send documents to FPSC, they do not let you change any information. So, for CSS and almost all other exams for posts in government sector you must have all the documents with you before closing date of application.

Same is the case with private sector but whenever fresh candidates are required and if they are willing to accept students awaiting results, they always mention it specifically in their advertisement.
