Asalam o Alaikum Respected Members I want your honest / genuine opinion in regards to the best academy for CSS Prep. Please do not advise me for Self-Study. The aspirants who have cleared and are serving are requested to share their experience if any are active from Karachi. Do not want to waste more hard earned money of my parents by selecting a poor academy.

What difficulties are you facing during self study? What is your academic background and how long you have been preparing for CSS? What are your optional subjects?

Thanks Respected Member for your reply. My Background is BS Electronic Engineering having a good CGPA. I graduated last year in March. I purchased books last year registered for CE-17 but did not start preparation. I cannot self study mainly our home is quite occupied as guest and relatives visit or stay quite often. I cannot study with constant commotion and disturbance as bell ringing and do this and that. I need a silent place to study. For job tests I prepare on my own in my home.

Ok. You need study environment that's your main concern. Dear there as far as the issue of CSS academy is concerned i think there is no such academy in Pakistan which can guarantee one's 100% success. There are pros and cons of joining any academy.
Academies can provide you CSP faculty for your counseling, they can provide you lectures, notes etc. Academies put you into a certain discipline such as they conduct tests, they give you certain topics to write, group discussions and many other things. But all these things are not enough for success.
They will not provide you study environment, as timings of academies start from 5:pm to 9 pm( approximately), secondly every academy will require you to go for self study during morning time. Main thing which any academy will not provide you is innovation, creativity, critical thinking. The knowledge you will be getting from academies that will contain perspective of those teachers, for success you should go with your own ideas, your own conclusions, some thing different from others. Borrowed knowledge would not work for that purpose. That is the main reason that people have been suggesting you for self study. If you want to join any academy than keep one thing in your mind that spoon feeding of academies would not work, you would be required to do more. If you have only problem for study environment than join any library.

Yes Sir I get your point, that the examiners need unique content. Sir following a class setting, going on a certain time and coming back attending class and giving tests are beneficial. Sir how did you prepare ? your strategy. Sir your analysis of the current academy scene in Karachi and any one academy that passes your standard. I was at first in opposition to academies but If one get great teachers then they will polish you skills and lead you towards success. Another option could be studying each subject individually from a subject specialist but that would be too arduous and cumbersome.
