Default Career Counseling-Coming back to original career after spending three years on css

Is it possible to re-start original career after spending three years on css.Do employers criticize people for this.Kindly give examples from practical life or reasoning.

Of course it is possible but who leaves a career altogether for three years? It won't reflect very well on your resume and you'll have to basically start from scratch but nothing impossible in it.
