Is it worth joining civil services in age 30+ ??
AoA everyone. I am planning to take CE ‘18 and ‘19. My age will be 30 if i join 47th CTP and 31 if i join 48th CTP. The question here is to all members specifically for serving members that is it worth joining civil services at this age? Mind that the age for retirement is 60 and i would get at most, 30 years for service. I am doing Masters abroad on HEC scholarship right now and i can continue pursuing Ph.D on same scholarship. Is it too late to join civil services at this age? What could be the possible drawbacks? What grade could be reached till retirement?
Thank you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Is it possible to join at 33 or 34? As per revised rules the upper age limit is 30. If one takes his last attempt at age 30 he will be 31 years old at the time of joining CSA. This is the latest one could join without claiming age relaxation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
