Study for CSS while continuing your job. Don't leave it.

css is a gamble for the unemployed students in which candidates' intelligence is judged merely on English language.

If you have solid family background where a leaving a job won't cost you anything, then leave the job for CSS. Otherwise don't leave it especially if chances of growth in your job are high. Although without leaving job, it would take every minute of your time to stand a chance to pass.
If you are insistent on doing CSS, then try to work up a scheme where you can get off from the job for 3 months before exam and rejoin the job after the exams, in your first attempt. You will be able to give 2nd and 3rd attempt with your job (If it comes to that).

My take on that is simple. First prepare yourself for a one paper exam with your job. Crack any government job either of provincial or federal and a bps 15 grade job will offer you more salary than your current one along with age relaxation opportunity. You can also crack a bps 17 job. I have mentioned a low bps job earlier because it will be easy and quick to grab.
Furthermore, you will be able to avail a long Holiday for your css preparation.
I hope i am clear with my statement.
