Guidance for CSS

Passing CSS exam is like a dream-come-true for many in Pakistan.Every year, thousands of students appear in this exam, but only a handful get allocated in the prestigious civil service of Pakistan.Sadly, the passing percentage of candidates has fallen to alarming levels. One of the most important and effective weapon which a candidate must possess in his or her arsenal for striking this exam is that of proper guidance.Unfortunately, some factions of the society have commercialized this and made the provision of CSS guidance a mere business.I’ve seen huge number of pages on facebook being run by fake ids claiming to be qualified mentors of CSS and offering “online classes” via video chats for a sum of upto 15k per subject.Morever, just to delude the aspirants and to win their trust, these fake pages normally paste different content ,with their credits, pertaining to CSS syllabus which is originally copied from different newspapers, volumes, journals and articles. Many enthusiastic students get trapped into these fake claims, and they end up paying huge sums of money for gaining nothing but bookish material, which could easily be comprehended at home without paying thousands .I would advise all the aspirants preparing for CSS exams, and those who are planning to do so in future, not to get misguided by the claims of such money-centric " online CSS academies," and only join any institution or academy after getting accquainted with its credibility and the qualifications of its preachers.Guidance for exams like CSS should only be sought from credible, qualified mentors and successful aspirants.
Regards.
