Which group is better for girls and why? Customs, PAAS, PAS or foreign service?

PAS is excellent for girls. FSP is great if a girl is ready to live abroad alone. I have heard that in PAS, females are not posted in remote areas but they are mostly posted in their home city.

How candidates are allocated? By the marks they would obtain in total will decide the group or by the preference they had chosen in the form?

On the basis of marks. If the preferred group is already filled, candidate will be allocated on the second preferred group and so on. If the top prioritized group is not filled and the candidate is on merit, he/she will be allocated in the group of their choice.
