Default Does Allocation depends on subject selection?

does allocation of a person depends on his or her subjects selection too or you just have to get good marks to get in the first 40 merits ?

Allocation has nothing to do with one's optional subjects. Allocation is purely based on one's merit and availability of seat.

No, it depends on Merit purely that which group has been opted by maximum number of candidates for the available seats.
