regarding phasing out of 2 year degrees
help a lad out... i chose bcom as my bachelors degree for the purpose of appearing in CSS examination(not currently involved)... however phasing out of 2 year programs has rather left me confused.. since bcom from gov universities will now be a 4 year degree but leaving the program after years will be a 2 year degree as issued by HEC.... if i am to leave after 2 years and attain a 2 year bcom degree will i be eligible to appear in CSS exam... i'd be grateful if someone replies a.s.a.p....

Brother; i am a BCOM as well.
We still are on board unless FPSC decides to phase out aspirants with 14 years of education. Lets not panic and wait till the prestigeous exam is advertised. And even if we are phased out; dont loose hope & continue your preparing for competitive exams to be up to the mark for different FPSC general recruitment examination as per you eligibility. Hopefully; if you succeed in getting a Grade 16 position in a federal department. This will result in grabbing you an additional 2 or 4 years of upper age limit. In that time; go for an MBA and earn the eligibility. Good luck for your future endeavors
