Unhappy Disabled and Interview?

Hi Guys Salam!

Hope you're all doing great. I'm a Disabled person (Deaf) and recently finished my Masters in English and plan to appear in CSS next year Insha'Allah.
I've got some questions if you guys don't mind, I don't know which topic or thread will be ideal for all these questions that are bothering me for a while so rather than posting in a random thread like an idiot, I'll go ahead and post in the FAQ.

I've got multiple questions:-
1) First of all, Can I appear in CSS? Minimum age is 21 right? or is it 22? because I'm 21 y/o
2) Secondly, After Written Test, which is compulsory for everyone, Is Psychological Test, Interview, Medical held for Disabled persons too? or they're exempted? I went through CSS rules, it mentions about exemption from medical by showing Disability certificate from competent authorities, but doesn't talk about Interview or Psychological test, I mean I'm deaf, I can't hear, and since I'll not be able to hear the interviewer, so how will it be taken in such circumstances? If someone could highlight it please, I'll be very thankful to you. I don't want to spend months preparing for CSS only to get rejected over disability later, so it'll be better if some senior throw some light on it whether I should continue this path or stop.
3) Is studying alone more helpful or joining the academy? I've been following various CSS related pages from years and they often post stories of CSS Toppers, and they all emphasize on studying alone, and how Academies loot Aspirants, is it true? Should I study alone or go join the academy? I know you'll say it's up to me to decide but I need to know your experience and professional guidance and tips to come to any conclusion
4) And lastly, Will 6-8 months be enough for me to prepare for CSS if i start from July, I've set up a plan and want to study 6-10 hours daily for 8 months straight, and how to cover different topics, so will I be able to cover it in 6-8 months? Kindly share your experience please if you could. My family wants me to appear in 2021, but a year and 8 months is too long and I feel like 8 months is enough if you could guide, I'll be thankful.

So that's all I've got to ask. These questions have been bothering me for a while, so if someone could help me out, I'll be very thankful to you I need to clear all this confusion so I could focus on studies peacefully

Have a nice day!!

Regards,
Qaiser

I will try to answer questions 3 and 4.

3) Academies are essentially platforms that help to structure our preparation.
I would suggest going to a specialist teacher for English Essay and Précis exams. You can judge for yourself for how long you need to attend.
There is no substitute for exam practice and for this reason I suggest you to take test series and mock series at the better academies. This will allow you to hone your preparation, identity weaknesses and boost confidence.
As you have mentioned your hearing disability I am not sure how taking a regular session at an academy will be beneficial for you.

4) Based on what you have written I imagine there is enough time for you to prepare for 2020 if you stay committed to the task.

Good luck.

Thanks for your reply brother.

If you suggest joining academy for mock exams, and subjects specialists for preparation, i could do that. It'll help alot i guess if i knew about structure, how to attempt questions, and all those stuff from other aspirants or senior teachers and then practice myself.
As for Disability, I've been studying in normal schools from young age, not special, so i'm used to it. As for CSS, i do plan to prepare with my University colleagues, when attending a lecture, they do make notes which i help copy and learn from Internet and books on my own, so it'll work out in Academies too i guess.
So thank you, i guess i'll have to join Academy for a while to learn everything then decide if i should continue or carry on my own.
