Default Please judge my English Ability

Hi! I am an Engineer, and I want to prepare for the CSS Exam 2022.
I'm a beginner and I just want to know if my English Language is good enough to start preparing for this exam.
Below are the 2 paragraphs which I wrote so that you people can judge whether I should continue with my preparation or not?

Topic: Truth is lived not taught.

The quest of truth is what mankind has embarked since its evolution. Veils upon veils are lifted when one seek the enlightenment. A probe into chronological events of history have elaborated the fact that the truth by any means can never remain hidden or suppressed. The Human nature itself accepts truth as a sole element of its existence. However, a question arises here; whether the notion of truth is perceived and conceived by one’s own mind or the acquired knowledge lets one lead to know about the ultimate truth? The negation to the idea of self-conceived truth to be lived not only has a vast and crucial impact on the history but also has cost the lives of great personalities like Socrates and xyz.

A concept of supremacy and self-centered superiority followed by the blind followers had led to believe in the phenomenon of Sun to be revolving around the Earth. This belief was considered to be the ultimate truth until a man emerged with concrete evidence which explained the same phenomenon of nature otherwise. The former people believed in the idea which was not taught or delivered but it was self-conceived and believed unconditionally. One can now examine and derive the idea that truth itself requires certain procedures and principles to be followed. It demands to be revealed once all the procedures and set of principles are set together and aligned in a particular order.

A very famous saying of the great philosopher Socrates “knowledge is Virtue” further explains that the truth is always acquired from the knowledge which in turn leads to virtue.

Well, most of the times I reply in general manner without paying heed to grammar and vocabulary . But when it comes to attempting englsih questions then it's a whole different story.
So ,I can give you some recommendations to make your writing better. Though you attempted quite good. That was a nice attempt. But I think there are some things that have to be corrected. I have given them below;

Change this embark word with any other appropriate one.
No idiom like 'veils over veils'.

Seeks instead of seek
Has elaborated not have elaborated
Remove 'the' before human nature
Don't use has cost in second last line of first paragraph.
I think you have to remove 'the' before blind too.
Remove had before led.

The quest of truth is what mankind has embarked (embarked upon/on is the correct expression) since its evolution. Veils upon veils are lifted when one seek (one seeks - Subject and Verb are not in agreement) the ("The" is used wrongly here. Since there is only one enlightenment, there is no need to specify by placing an article) enlightenment. A probe into (the) chronological events of history have (has - Again Subject and verb don not agree. Rules state that any phrase or clause separating subject and verb has no effect on their singular or plural relationship) elaborated the fact that the truth by any means (the phrase "by any means" must be laced at the end of this sentence to convey its rightful message) can never remain hidden or suppressed. The (again no need for "the") Human nature itself accepts truth as a (here, you are talking about one and only sole element. "The" must be used here, "a" suggests a choice among several) sole element of its existence. However, a question arises here; (add a colon) whether the notion of truth is perceived and conceived by one’s own mind or the acquired knowledge lets one lead to know (leads one to know about - too much confusion here) about the ultimate truth? (the question cannot start with "whether". Use IS to start this question.) The negation to ("of" not "to") the idea of self-conceived truth to be lived not only has a vast and crucial impact on the (again there is a globally accepted notion of history, article use is redundant) history but also has ("has also" instead of "also has") cost the lives of great personalities like (in formal writing, avoid words such as "like". Use "such as") Socrates and xyz.

A concept of supremacy and self-centered superiority followed by the blind followers had led to believe in the phenomenon of Sun to be revolving around the Earth. This belief was considered to be the ultimate truth until a man emerged with concrete evidence which explained the same phenomenon of nature otherwise. I have highlighted the corrections required in the first passage and mentioned them in brackets alongside your errors. The second passage has similar issues. You need to work on the following aspects of grammar:
a. Subject-Verb Agreement
b. Use of Articles
c. Use of phrases and clauses
d. Tenses and sentence structure
e. Use of prepositions
f. Phrasal verbs
